My philosophy is to encourage people to feel positive and more balanced in their daily lives. How to describe myself and my classes? A busy mum to 4 children, a yoga teacher, a jewellery maker, a fitness instructor, lover of the ocean....I am all these things and I love every element as each fulfils and challenges me to be my best. Having practised for 19 years, I took my first YTT in 2009, loved it and have been teaching ever since. In 2015 I took my second YTT and went to India to learn Sivananda under Swami Govindananda. Practising Bikram (hot) and Jivamucti were my firm staple classes for many years and I was lucky enough to be taught by two senior and internationally renowned Jivamucti yoga teachers whose classes, full of passion and inspiration, have inspired my own teaching and practice today. I started my yoga journey with Ashtanga, followed by Yin and Flow. Pregnancy, then Bikram alongside Jivamucti. And I have dabbled with both Iyengar and Forrest yoga. As my journey has progressed so has my interest in the spiritual element of yoga. This has brought about greater understanding of my body, mind and practice on and off my mat. You will find my classes sprinkled with energy from all these threads of yoga, from chilled and calm to hot, sweaty and vibrant. I adore music, ranging from sounds that will uplift to sounds that will transport you to an open rooftop studio in India. Come with no expectation but to explore your body and its capacity for movement and breath...positive vibe zone only
