Laura GILMORE

Senior Yoga Teacher

As a teacher of 20 years, I have developed a keen sensitivity towards students from all backgrounds. Understanding from a variety of experiences that what unites us all is a longing for self-acceptance and compassion. My teaching is infused with this deep awareness of our common humanity, which means I support students with kindness, playfulness, love and creativity. All my courses have an evidence-based approach, synthesizing contemporary science with the classical teachings of yoga. Integrated with knowledge from a wide range of traditions and teachers, based in a study of traditional Iyengar, Hatha and ashtanga; deepened by an understanding of somatics, Zen and the subtle body.
