Intro To Yoga

Building from foundations: During the program we learn the fundamental elements of yoga breath, movement, alignment & flow. Practice anytime: These classes can be practiced in your own home at a time that suits you. Whilst they are designed as a one hour class, they are broken down so you can practice individual segments at a time if that better suits your schedule. Week by week: On booking your program you will receive a YouTube link to your week 1 class and then every week for 4 weeks you will receive the next class in the program.

Sam Edwards: Founder CORE yoga As a student of Jason Crandell (ERYT 500hrs), Sam teaches yoga with the same approach as she follows in her personal practice. An evenly paced vinyasa flow yoga that incorporates mindfulness & technical precision. A satisfying mélange of power & yin to help balance body, mind & soul from the everyday stresses of life & training. Sam loves to run, swim and cycle and has found her yoga practice instrumental in her ability to complete many races over the last few years; including her most recent Ironman achievement. She uses her experience as an endurance athlete & yogini to help her students to develop proprioception; to improve their functional strength, flexibility & mobility through conscious movement & breath. Sam is consistently developing her knowledge and understanding of both yoga & the human body through her trainings since 2012 (200hrs Yoga London; 100hrs Advanced Anatomy Yoga London; 200hrs Yoga for Sports YSS; 300hrs Jason Crandell Advanced Teacher Training; 40 hours Yin & Meditation Sarah Lo) and through other developmental courses working with internationally recognised teachers including Tom Myers, David Svensson & Jill Miller. Before Yoga become her main focus Sam also trained with Triathlon England as a Level 2 Coach & with FASTER as a PT & Functional Performance & Running Coach
